Sky News host Rita Panahi has compared a wild rant by American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten to a scene from the hit comedy series The Office.

Ms Weingarten suggested former president Donald Trump was an “existential threat” to democracy in an address.

She then compared the speech to a scene from The Office where the character Dwight Schrute made an acceptance speech.
